Members of Mt. Calvary Star Baptist Church have found a welcoming place to worship --- here at Bethesda!   Beginning today, we are blessed to welcome the minister, Reverend Alex Young, and the members, who will worship in both the Davis Building and the sanctuary after our 10:30 a.m. service.   Sadly, on a cold, windy day in February, a three-alarm fire destroyed most of their church on Milton Avenue in East Baltimore.   The damage to the church was so devastating that the entire church had to be demolished.   The church, like Bethesda, served the community for many generations.   Pastor Young has been preaching there for more than 30 years.  Bethesda members understand more than most how important it is to maintain your church family in challenging times.   We want them to know that they are welcome for as long as they want or until they can rebuild.    Cassie Bichy for Bethesda Church
